Engineering Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
Because of our growing business, AZCAR seeks an Engineering Coordinator to assist the Director of Engineering Operations in managing the efficient and effective operations within the engineering department. The qualified candidate for this position will consolidate the tracking and current location of all engineering resources, and maintain project look-ahead schedules for capacity and resource planning to meet pipeline requirement. This person will establish and maintain a documentation archive between various AZCAR offices and provide logistics support for engineering staff. This person will review project deliverables to ensure they are complete, accurate and appropriate and that the engineering project design team is performing as per the specific project scope, budget and schedule.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Responsible for department Logistics, including:
- Maintaining project rollup schedule (engineering perspective)
- Tacking resource location and assignment
- Interface liaison with Project Management and Biz Dev
- Engineering document management and control
- Assist in plot and preparation of drawing packages for delivery to client
- Maintain project transmittal records
- Maintain plotter and printing supplies
- Able to multitask several projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project competence
- Business logistics experience
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
- University degree or community college diploma and/or a combination of equivalent training, education and experience
- Proven ability to work in a team environment

A/V Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Because of our growing business, AZCAR is seeking an A/V Project Manager, responsible for the successful implementation of audio visual and small broadcast systems projects. The A/V Project Manager will support the Operations Manager in developing and managing project management processes and client interfaces.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Coordinate and communicate with client/consultant and project team detailed scope of work, timeline, and schedules
- Coordinate with operations manager to create project schedule
- Track & update progress. Issue detailed reports to the owner, their representatives and the entire project team
- Submit change order forms to client/consultant and negotiate approval with the support of the Business Development representative
- Coordinate and schedule completion of punch list tasks.
Candidate must be an ICIA Accredited Project Manager with a minimum of five years construction experience and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks. Must be well organized and a skilled professional team player with strong Microsoft applications skills, including Outlook, Excel, Project, Word and Visio. Auto CAD drawing skills a plus. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Senior Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Engineers are needed to support the Engineering department and Director of Engineering in managing the efficient and effective completion of engineering project deliverables. The Senior Engineer will insure that the technical designs are complete, accurate and appropriate and that the engineering project design team is performing as per the specific project scope, budget and schedule.
This position is responsible for development of work plan and schedule for Engineering projects and resources, as well as overseeing the engineering design elements of several projects. The qualified candidate will develop design concepts, produce design drawings and provide engineering site presence as required by the project. Working with PM, this position will address client needs and information and provide technical guidance and consulting to clients and co-workers.
Qualified candidate will have 5 years experience in digital media systems project management and an Engineering or Electronics background. PMP designation is a plus. Proven leadership skills with excellent analysis and problem solving skills.

Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Our growing business requires Project Managers to assist in managing and directing AZCAR projects to provide effective and efficient professional service to our clients, AZCAR and the project teams. Provide leadership skills and business savvy to manage projects teams that successfully complete complex media projects for the broadcast, audio video and worship markets.
The primary responsibilities for this position are to provide project leadership to insure absolute client satisfaction and be the key liaison with managers of all company departments and client representatives. This includes:
- The creation and management of the project communication plan
- The creation and maintenance of the project schedule.
- The management and communication of the budget.
- The management and leadership to insure project quality.
- The escalation of any issue that may compromise the integrity of the project.
These services and programs will be delivered in a cost-effective manner with a goal of ensuring that AZCAR project teams work in a respectful, upbeat and effective manner.
The qualified candidate has proven leadership skills with 5 - 10 years experience in digital media systems project management and an Engineering or Electronics background. PMP designation a plus.

Installation Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
Because of our growing business, AZCAR seeks an Installation Supervisor to provide leadership skill and technical savvy to build and grow the installation group into a team that successfully leads the installation of complex media projects for the Broadcast, Audio Video and Worship markets.
The Installation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the installation team in installation quality, the organization of the work, installation team management, and the timely completion of the work according the project scope, schedule and budget as outlined by management.
The qualified candidate will have proven leadership skills and be and effective team builder with 5 or more year experience in electronic media systems installation.

Senior Installer
POSITION SUMMARY
AZCAR requires a Senior Installer with significant installation experience and the ability to continue to develop the technical savvy to build and grow the installation group into a team that successfully completes the installation of complex media projects for the Broadcast, Audio Video and Worship markets.
The qualified candidate will have 5 years installation related experience with on-going training provided by AZCAR, and a technical background with the ability to demonstrate the ability to take initiative and understanding of mechanical skills.

CAD Designer
POSITION SUMMARY
The CAD designer will support the engineering design team in the efficient and effective completing of project drawings and documentation, as well as ensure that the technical design drawings are complete, accurate and appropriate and that the design drawings comply with the AZCAR standards as per the specific project scope, budget and schedule. The qualified candidate will be well-versed in AutoCAD drawing and plotting requirements and be able to multitask several assigned drawing projects.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Produce finished detailed drawings from input drawing delivered by engineering
- Produce design drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with engineering standards
Provide assistance to engineering on CAD operation
- Work as part of a team to develop complete technical design details for broadcast and media systems
The ideal candidate will have one to two years experience in technical drawing using AutoCAD and a proven ability to work in a team environment
