Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK, 29 March 2010: Megahertz (MHz), the independent international systems integrator, has appointed Frederik Schodts to head up its proposals team. Schodts will take over this role from Don Wilson who has moved to lead MHz’s projects group. In his new role Schodts will be responsible for overseeing all MHz pre-sales operations and for procuring the necessary equipment within an agreed timescale and budget.
Schodts has over ten years of experience in the broadcast and IT industry, most recently as a senior product and project manager at Video Promotion in Belgium. In this role Schodts was responsible for the pre-sales, systems architecture and project consultancy for installations at major television stations, audio visual facilities and government agencies across Belgium, Luxemburg and France. At Video Promotion Schodts worked with a number of the major broadcast equipment manufacturers including Harris, Omneon, Snell, Front Porch and Telestream. Prior to that Schodts worked as a project manager with Studiotech Belgium, the professional broadcast technology distributor and systems integrator.

Schodts holds a masters degree in multimedia technology and virtual reality and a postgraduate degree in business administration from Ehsal Management School, Hogeschool-University Brussels. Schodts is also a qualified project management professional (PMP™) from the Project Management Institute.
