| Corporate Timeline |
• 1974—Established
by CEO Stephen Pumple, AZCAR is founded as IMMAD
Broadcast Services.
• 1981—The Company is incorporated
as AZCAR Technologies Incorporated but continues to
operate as IMMAD Broadcast Services.
• 1996—AZCAR becomes a
public company, initially trading on the Alberta Exchange
and now on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) listed as
AZZ.
• 1997—AZCAR acquires East
Coast Video Systems (ECVS) expanding the U.S. presence
with an office in Boonton, NJ. The company re-brands
and operates as IMMAD ECVS.
• 2001—AZCAR acquires Synergistic
Technologies (STI), an independent systems integration
company. This creates an opportunity to increase AZCAR’s
U.S. presence even more with an office, staging area,
and production facility in Canonsburg PA.
• 2002—The Boonton, NJ
office closes and all US operations move to Canonsburg,
PA. Shortly thereafter the Company re-brands and begins
operating as AZCAR USA, Inc.
• 2003—ACAR acquires Megahertz
Broadcast Systems, Ltd., a U.K.-based company acknowledged
as one of the premier independent broadcasting systems
builders in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
• 2005—AZCAR buys the assets
of ProCom, an AV company operating in Pittsburgh and
forms a subsidiary AZCAR ProCom LLC with operations
consolidated in the AZCAR Canonsburg office.
• 2006—A regional office
is established in Atlanta, GA, along with several sales
offices in key locations to support AZCAR’s equipment
and integration sales efforts.
• 2007—AZCAR forms a strategic
alliance with the Midwest Media Group, Inc., of Arlington
Heights, IL, to each leverage the expert sales consultation,
advanced engineering/design, project management, system
integration, and installation capabilities of the other.
